Founded in 1873, Naunyn-Schmiedeberg's Archives of Pharmacology is edited on behalf of the German Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (DGPT), and the Sphingolipid Club. This monthly journal publishes invited reviews, original articles and short communications. Coverage focuses on new and significant information on drug action and toxicity of chemical compounds. Nefrología is the official publication of the Spanish Society of Nephrology. The Journal publishes articles on basic or clinical research relating to nephrology, arterial hypertension, dialysis and kidney transplants. It is governed by the peer review system and all original papers are subject to internal assessment and external reviews. NEFROLOGIA follows the publication requirements of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

This highly respected and frequently cited journal is a prime source of information in the area of fetal and neonatal research. Original papers present research on all aspects of neonatology, fetal medicine and developmental biology. These papers encompass both basic science and clinical research including randomized trials, novel observational studies and epidemiology. Basic science research covers molecular biology, molecular genetics, physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology in fetal and neonatal life. In addition to the classic features the journal accepts papers for sections "Research Briefings", "Sources of Neonatal Medicine" (historical pieces) and "Global Neonatal Research". Papers reporting the results of animal studies should be based upon hypotheses that relate to developmental processes or disorders in the human fetus or neonate.

Neoplasia encourages the free exchange of all clones, cell lines, and biological reagents described in its pages to facilitate the progress of research in order to ultimately provide those fighting neoplastic diseases with new diagnostic, preventative and therapeutic options.

Nephrology is published eight times per year by the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology. It has a special emphasis on the needs of Clinical Nephrologists and those in developing countries. Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation is one of the world's leading journals devoted to original clinical and laboratory research in nephrology, dialysis and transplantation. The scope of the Netherlands Heart Journal is to contribute to the national and international literature by publishing scientific papers in the field of cardiovascular medicine. It also provides a platform for Continuing Medical Education for cardiologists and those in training for the speciality of cardiology in the Netherlands.

Neural Plasticity is an international, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the publication of articles related to all aspects of neural plasticity, with special emphasis on its functional significance as reflected in behavior and in psychopathology. Neural Plasticity publishes research and review articles from the entire range of relevant disciplines, including basic neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, biological psychology, and biological psychiatry. The most recent Impact Factor for Neural Plasticity is 2.000 according to 2011 Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Reuters (ISI) in 2012.
